Reasons to visit Fing: Device Identification, IoT Security and Network Troubleshooting
IoT is definitely the buzzword of this year’s MWC and as specialists in device identification and IoT security we are very excited to see the latest developments in this rapidly growing sector.
Over the past year we’ve had two new editions to our own IoT device identification solutions – check them out, along with the Fing app, below!
Fing App: With over 15 million downloads and 700k network scans performed every day, the free Fing app is the world’s best network scanner. After massive updates last year on both the iOS and Android apps, our network scanner discovers all the IoT devices connected on any Wi-Fi network within seconds.
Fingbox: our powerful new device for home network security and Wi-Fi troubleshooting has already raised over $500,000 on Indiegogo since its launch in November 2016. Fingbox secures your home network with features like device blocking, hacker threat check, a digital fence and more.
FingKit: our Fing SDK allows developers to add Fing’s powerful device scanning and recognition engine to existing hardware, services or apps. FingKit includes SDKs for mobile and embedded devices and cloud-based device recognition services.
Our Device Identification Tools have been selected as IoT Innovators for 2017!
2017 has got off to a flying start after Fing becoming a finalist for our first ever award! The Innovation World Cup is an award series that recognizes the innovators providing solutions in the IoT space. This could be anything from fitness through to cooking, and our device identification tools have put Fing on the map as an IoT Innovator in the security category!
After being narrowed down from over 400 IoT solutions, we are very excited to make it through to the final for the first award that we’ve entered, and to be up against some very worthy opponents! Our CEO, Domenico, will be doing a short 2-minute presentation on device identification and IoT security at the Pitch and Award Ceremony on 1 March, so come along to see how we get on!
